Scope
This standard specifies the high performance liquid chromatography and liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry methods for the determination of zolpidem in feed. The liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry method is the confirmation method. This standard is applicable to the determination of zolpidem in compound feeds, concentrated feeds and premixed feeds. The detection limit of this standard by high performance liquid chromatography is 0.4 mg/kg, and the limit of quantification is 1.0 mg/kg; the detection limit of liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry is 0.02 mg/kg, and the limit of quantification is 0.05 mg/kg.
