Scope: This procedure is applicable to the first calibration and subsequent calibration of single-phase and three-phase electronic (stationary) AC energy meters (referred to as electronic energy meters or electric energy meters) with a reference frequency of 50Hz or 60Hz. For electronic energy meters with other functions, the same calibration items shall be subject to this procedure. This procedure does not apply to the calibration of electromechanical (induction system) AC energy meters, standard energy meters, digital energy meters (energy meters whose measured voltage and current are digital quantities) and on-site inspection of energy meters.
