Scope

This standard specifies the requirements, inspection rules and inspection methods for acidic hard gold plating on nickel base of plugs of printed circuit boards (hereinafter referred to as printed circuit boards). This standard is applicable to the process quality control and inspection of acidic hard gold plating (including nickel plating) on nickel base of printed circuit board plugs for aerospace use. It is also applicable to the inspection of gold-plated plugs of finis ed printed circuit boards.
