This standard specifies the safety requirements before and during the drilling operation under pressure in the petroleum industry. The pressure drilling method described in this standard is applicable to pipelines and equipment that meet the following three aspects at the same time:
——Pipes and equipment made of ferritic steel or austenitic steel (excluding pressure vessels, underwater pipelines and equipment) . —Pipelines or equipment that cannot be shut down, purged or cleaned by conventional methods. — Pressure drilling operations that require welding procedures.
