Scope

This Publicly Available Specification (PAS) specifies requirements for portable and/or transportable Negative Pressure Units (NPUs) for use in the controlled removal of asbestos-containing materials. This PAS is also applicable to NPUs designed for the provision of negative pressure within a portable decontamination facility and two-part NPUs. This PAS is not applicable to local exhaust ventilation.
