This Standard applies to conduits of circular cross section, made of plastic material and intended for electric installations, for the protection of electric conductors, in accordance with the relevant wiring regulations.
Compliance of the conduits with this Standard does not guarantee their resistance to the rays of the sun; this resistance is ensured only if the conduits comply with additional requirements which are not detailed in this Standard.
