Scope

This standard specifies a gas chromatography method for the detection of dimethylmethacrylate residue markers in edible animal tissues. This standard is applicable to the detection of dimethylbenzene residues and its metabolite 2,4-dimethylbenzene glue in the fat, liver, and kidneys of pigs, cattle, and sheep.
