Scope
This standard specifies a gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS) method for the determination of eight beta-agonists in feed. This standard is applicable to the determination of chlorprenaline, mabuterol, terbutaline, clenbuterol hydrochloride, salbutamol, zipaterol, bambuterol, and ractopamine in compound feeds. The quantitation limit and detection limit of this method: ractopamine is 0.5mg/kg and 0.1mg/kg, and the other seven types of drugs are 0.05mg/kg and 0.01mg/kg respectively.
