Scope: Forestry digital vector basic geographical data includes 1:4000000, 1:1000000, 1:250000, 1:50000 and 1:10000 vector data. They are synthesized products based on the national vector terrain data products produced by the State Bureau of Surveying and Mapping. Synthetic products are divided into two categories according to national administrative divisions and forestry management divisions. Products managed according to national administrative division units are divided into the aforementioned five scale levels. Products managed according to forestry management division units do not include the 1:4000000 scale level. This part of LY/T 1662 makes unified provisions on the production technical requirements, operating procedures, etc. of the above two categories of synthetic products. This section is applicable to the processing of vector basic geographical data products in forestry informatization work.
