As sf 9 February 1984, no Type CPAST, Type DPAST, Type DPASP, Class
3 and Scriee 308 governors have been tested and approved EOK dnclusion
on qunlificcl Products List QPL-18916. Pending approval of
tlia above typesI clase aiid series governors for inclusion on tiie
QunJified Products List, the qualification requirements (paragraphs
3.1 end 6.2) shall be waived for acquisition of Type CPAST, Type
DFAST, Type UPASP and Series 300 governors for Naval ShlpbousJ use;
however, contracting ap,encies should require f i r s t a r t i c l e inspection
invoking tesm of paragraph 4.4 of MIL-G-l8916(SHIPS). A copy
