Scope
This standard specifies testosterone, methyltestosterone, progesterone, trenbolone, bodiron, nandrolone, mestandrolone, and stanazol in animal-derived foods such as pigs, cattle, sheep, chicken muscles and livers, milk, and fresh eggs. Liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry method for the determination of 11 sex hormones including alcohol, nandrolone propionate, testosterone propionate and nandrolone phenylpropionate. This standard is applicable to the confirmation and quantitative determination of multiple residues of 11 sex hormones including testosterone in animal source foods such as pigs, cattle, sheep, chickens, chicken muscles and livers, milk and fresh eggs.
