Scope
This standard specifies sample preparation and HPLC determination methods for the detection of penicillin antibiotic residues in edible tissues of pigs and chickens. This standard is applicable to the simultaneous detection of amoxicillin, penicillin G, penicillin V, ampicillin, and dicloxacillin residues in pig muscle, liver, kidney tissue, chicken muscle, and liver tissue.
