This standard specifies the tests to determine the usable power in the power take-off and drawbar of agricultural tractors, both wheeled and chain or semi-chain. Tests on the power take-off and the drawbar can be carried out independently and separately, or in parallel. The nominal power test is used to define the power of the tractor. The nominal power of the tractor must be determined with the measurement made on the power take-off. In the case of a tractor that, by design, does not include a power take-off, or when it cannot transmit all the engine power, the power measured at the drawbar or the net power measured in the engine.
