This standard is applicable to ceramic, glass or glass-ceramic materials used as electrical insulation. This second part of the standard specifies the test methods intended to provide results representative of the material from which the specimens have been taken. The limitations imposed by the method used to obtain the specimens and their conditioning are also studied.
