The purpose of this standard is to describe an operating procedure to determine volumetrically the content of total halides (chlorides, bromides and iodides) (soluble and not soluble in water) in solid and liquid additives for concrete, mortars and pastes, as well as the procedure to prepare the sample. The halide content is conventionally expressed as chloride ion.
