The purpose of this standard is to establish the preferred values of the characteristics and select, from the UNE 20-545/1 standard, the quality assurance procedures and the appropriate testing and measurement methods, as well as to establish the general requirements for this type of resistance. The test severities and requirements prescribed in the particular specifications must be of a level equal to or higher than those of this intermediate specification, consequently a lower level will not be admitted.
