This standard describes a method for determining the resistance of paper or board to the penetration of grease. The resistance that paper or cardboard offers to the penetration of fats and oils is of special importance from the point of view of packaging, for example, of food products. The UNE 57-071 standard measures the resistance of paper to fats, in cases of rapid penetration of fats or oils into the papers.
