This part of the European Standard specifies the requirements and test methods relating to the migration, from the toy material, of the following elements: Antimony, arsenic, barium, cadmium, chromium, lead, mercury and selenium. The requirements do not take into account other potential hazards resulting from the use of other chemicals in the manufacture of toys.
