Scope
The purpose of this standard is to establish a method for determining the lead content in gasoline. This test method is used to determine the total amount of lead in gasoline containing lead alkyl at concentrations between 0.026 and 1.3 g Pb/liter,1). NOTE 1 — Lead alkyls are added to gasoline to improve anti-knock properties.
