This standard describes the procedure that must be followed to determine the Furol viscosity of bituminous emulsions that are used as a primer, preparation of surfaces for waterproofing or as an auxiliary component for waterproofing coatings in construction, by means of the Saybolt viscometer. The procedure is similar to that described in the UNE 104-281/5.5 standard. The test is carried out at a temperature of 25 °C.
