The purpose of this standard is to establish: 1 The characteristics of the contactors. 2 The conditions to which the contactors must respond in relation to: a) Their operation and behavior. b) Its dielectric characteristics. c) The degrees of protection provided by their enclosures. 3 The tests intended to verify whether these conditions are met and the methods to be adopted for said tests. 4 The data that must appear on the devices.
