The purpose of this standard is to define a reaction to fire test method applicable: a) to rigid materials that puncture without flaming in the radiation test, see standard UNE 23-721; b) to flexible materials that puncture without catching fire in the electric burner test, see UNE 23-723; c) to all materials provisionally classified M-4 (see UNE 23-727) after a main test (see UNE 23-721 or UNE 23-723); in order to contribute to their classification with regard to their behavior against fire as construction materials (see UNE 23-727).
