The purpose of this standard is to indicate a procedure for the quantitative determination, in concrete aggregates, of sulfur compounds found in the forms of both sulfates and sulfides, attackable and non-attackable by hydrochloric acid. The influence on the results, due to the eventual and very small amount of sulfites, is considered negligible.
