This standard describes a method for determining the arsenic content in lead using the spectrophotocolorimetry technique. The method is applicable to arsenic contents between 0.00005 and 0.002% by mass. The method can be easily applied to arsenic contents greater than 0.002% by mass by appropriate dilution of the solution corresponding to the test sample (see 6.1.2.2).
