Scope
1.1 This standard specifies a method for determining the olefinic and aromatic hydrocarbon content of gasoline, naphtha, kerosene and other petroleum distillates that contain little or no butane or butene and whose distillation point is 90%, determined according to the method specified in the UNE 51-011 standard does not exceed 315°C. This method is not directly applicable to determinations of olefinic and aromatic contents greater than 98.5% (V/V), if a test sample of 10 ml is used, nor to determinations of contents greater than 97% (V/V). V/V), if a 5 ml test sample is used. Note. For best results, depentanized test samples should be used.
