This standard specifies a method for the laboratory preparation of a PVC resin paste under specified conditions. This paste can be used for control (especially rheological properties) and comparison between resins. NOTES 1 For certain studies and, especially, those that refer to application problems, other methods can be used using different apparatus and compositions. 2 This method will not be used if the relative humidity is equal to or less than 20% because abnormal results may be obtained.
