This standard describes a method for determining the concentration of hexavalent chromium and total chromium contained in a water sample. The method described is applicable to natural waters, treated waters and industrial waters or wastes. This method can determine chromium concentrations in the range of 0.005 to 0.2 mg/l as Cr.
