The purpose of this standard is to specify a volumetric method for determining the acidity of propanol—2 used as raw material for detergent formulations. The method is applicable to products whose acidity, expressed as acetic acid (CH3COOH), is greater than or equal to 0.0006% by weight. This standard must be used in conjunction with the UNE 55-823 standard.
