The purpose of this standard is to establish the general requirements that must be met by the packaging and transport of dangerous goods of class 3 ■ flammable liquids. It defines dangerous goods of class 3 by groups, establishes a classification of them according to the flash point, dictates rules on packaging and segregation or separation of substances in stowage and transport and contains provisions on prevention and fire fighting. The UNE 49 033 h2 standard determines the applicable packaging and stowage and transport conditions for each group of substances and includes a table of goods included in class 3, with the particular requirements that affect each substance.
