Scope
This standard establishes the nominal and cut sizes of films in plates and rolls. The photographic image on the film must be formed within the beam of rays, by direct exposure or by the use of screens or reinforcing cardboard. This standard also sets the dimensions of the cores for films used in roll form, and specifies the requirements regarding the shape of the sheets, quantity per packaging and labeling of the films. It does not apply to photofluorography or similar uses; Nor does it refer to periapical and occlusive radiographic films.
