UNE 36-320 Pt.1-1989 Chemical analysis of materials in the steel industry. Determination of calcium content in steel. Atomic absorption spectrophotometry with flame
This European Standard specifies a method for the determination of calcium in steels by flame atomic absorption spectrometry. This method is applicable to unalloyed and low-alloy steels with calcium contents greater than 0.0002% (m/m). NOTE - The method has also been successfully applied to highly alloyed steels, modifying the calibration solutions so that they contain the main alloying elements in proportions similar to those of the sample to be analyzed (see annex).
