The purpose of this standard is to indicate the method to be used to determine as a residue insoluble in hydrochloric acid, a fraction of the ashes, made up mostly of sand, silica and clay, under the conditions described by the method. This method is applicable to compound feed and raw materials used in the manufacture of compound feed, or any other type of livestock feed.
