The purpose of this standard is to specify a method for the spectrophotometric determination of phosphorus content in ferroalloys. The method is applicable for phosphorus contents between 0.005 and 0.250% by mass in the following ferroalloys: ferromanganese, ferrosilicon, ferrosilicomanganese, ferroaluminum and ferroboron.
