1.1 The purpose of this standard is to establish the test conditions to determine the resistance of dyeing of textiles of any nature, including floor coverings and other pile fabrics, to rubbing and color discharge, on other materials. 1.2 Two tests are planned, one rubbing with a dry fabric and another rubbing with a wet fabric.
