The purpose of this standard is to establish two methods to determine the distribution in granulometric fractions of cokes, that is, to carry out what is known as granulometric analysis. One of the methods is applied to those cokes whose maximum grain size is greater than 20 mm, the other being applied to the rest. Both apply to all types of cokes, whether raw, calibrated or screened.
