1.1 This standard specifies colours and levels, composition, requirements, packaging, marking and labelling, sampling and criteria for conformity, and analysis and tests of thermoplastic road marking materials to be applied to road and runways surfaces; hereinafter shall be referred
to as "thermoplastic materials".
1.2 This standard is applicable only to solid or powdered thermoplastic materials which have been melted by heat and then applied by spraying or screeding. It does not cover thermoplastic materials which are applied by means of the flame spray.
