1.1 This standard specifies marking of Insulated conductors used in industrial Installation and the equipment which forms part of them, except insulated conductors constituting the terminals of electrical apparatus, for example, rotating machines or transformers.
1.2 This standard applies only to other installation and equipment (for example, telecommunication circuits or circuits including telecommunic-ation equipment) when reference is made to them.
1.3 This standard specifies two types of markings, namely
- main markings;
- supplementary markings.
