1.1 This standard specifies classes, composition, requirements, packaging, marking and labelling, sampling and criteria for conformity and testing for coal-tar epoxy paint.
1.2 This standard covers only epoxy paint which is composed of two separately packaged components - main component and hardener, suitable for the protection of iron or steel structures such as ships, pipes, bridges and connections installed underground or underwater from the corrosion due to seawater, fresh water, high humidity, or others.
