Scope

1.1 This standard ( Part II /Sec 2 ) prescribes the methods of test for permitted explosives used for commercial blasting purposes. 1.1.1 The tests prescribed in the standard are: a) the gallery test, and b) the continuity of detonation test. 1.1.2 These tests are in addition to those prescribed for general explosives in IS : 6609 ( Part II/Sec 1 )-1974〓.
