Experimental solubility data on heavy hydrocarbons in LNG
and NGL are reported. The data were obtained in the P-V-T, Inc.
laboratory during the period November, 1974 to March, 1975.
These data were requested by the Gas Processors Association to
determine the solubility limits of heavy hydrocarbon mixtures in the
presence of a multicomponent solvent similar to LNG or NGL.
design and operation of these plants, when the process is based upon
cryogenic cooling, a major concern is if and when minor heavy
components in the process stream form a solid phase.
