- This standard specifies the terms and definitions, structure and classification, models, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, markings, packaging and transportation of infrared thermal imaging cameras for fire protection. This standard applies to infrared thermal imaging cameras (hereinafter referred to as thermal imaging cameras) used by fire-fighting rescue, emergency and disaster relief operations, and fire prevention supervisors during fire inspections.
