Scope

This standard specifies the external dimensions, tolerances and technical requirements of angular contact spherical plain bearings. The structural design of angular contact spherical plain bearings does not have to completely conform to the structure illustrated in this standard, but the dimensions and tolerances should be consistent with the provisions of this standard. This standard applies to angular contact spherical plain bearings with different combinations of sliding materials, and is intended for production inspection by manufacturers and acceptance by users. This standard does not apply to angular contact spherical plain bearings for aircraft frames.
