Scope

This standard specifies the test for protection against mechanical hazards caused by contact through openings in frozen and refrigerated cases for the purpose of selling or displaying food (hereinafter referred to as cases) under normal use conditions. The standard test fingers to be used and their usage are specified. Note: For tests related to electrical contact, refer to the applicable IEC tests.
