This standard specifies the method for measuring the heat transfer characteristics of flat thermal insulation materials, such as thermal resistance and thermal conductivity in a steady state, using the heat flow meter method (HFM method). This measurement method compares the thermal resistance of the standard plate and the test specimen through a heat flow meter to obtain related heat transfer characteristics such as thermal resistance and thermal conductivity, so it can be used as a secondary measurement method using the flat plate method or as a comparative measurement. It is the law. This method is applicable to test specimens with a thermal resistance greater than 0,1 m K/W in the thickness range according to 1.7.2.
