Scope

This standard specifies the method for measuring the heat transfer characteristics of cylindrical thermal insulation materials (thermal cylinders), such as thermal resistance and thermal conductivity in a steady state, using the cylindrical method. Note: This standard includes operating methods and equipment characteristics, but does not standardize the shape and dimensions of equipment.
