This Standard specifies the necessary items to be consider when preparing safty labels; lables are attached Isuze products to provide information related to its usage@ operation@ and repair works etc. this standard shall also be applied simiarly to the signs which are directly printed on the surface of the products. Remarks 1 This standard cis not applicable to the designed letters/characters@ diagrams@ or symbols used purely for decoration purposes. 2 If this standard conflicts with foreign and domestic laws@ standards@ regulations@ customs of the industry or the OEM clients' standards@ those laws@ standards@ regulations@ or the customs shall prevail this standard@ follow the procedure stated in Sec.8.5 Process of Safety Label Preparation to acquire an approval in advance. 3 Any other particulars not specified in this standard@ shall coform to ISA-Q-004Y (with approval) Caution plate design standard. PURPOSE The purpose of this documents is to set a standard for safety label designs; its purpose it to prevent harmful inherent risks and to ensure the safety of the ISUZu product users. Safety labels shall be easy to read@ and by uniforming the styles of the labels@ commonization of the labels shall be achieved.
