This standard specifies the terms and definitions of dairy cow feeding and feeding and management requirements such as feed, feeding, milking and breeding. This standard applies to the feeding and management of cattle herds (or individuals) in state-owned, collective and individual dairy farms. It is mainly aimed at herds and individual cows with a milk production of more than 6,000kg during a lactation period (305 days) and a fat content of 3.4% (or equivalent milkfat content).
