Scope
Coverage This specification covers minimum performance requirements for standard and close tolerance spring-bow casing centralizers It is not applicable to rigid or positive centralizers Recommended testing equipment and procedures@ as well as marking requirements and the application of the API monogram@ are included. In addition@ recommendations for determining centralizer spacing@ based on centralizer performance and required stand-off@ in deviated and dogleg holes are presented.
