Scope

This standard specifies the test methods for safety performance test items such as lawn mower blade braking time, operator ear noise, fuel tank leakage inspection, impact test and blade imbalance. This standard applies to rotary blade lawn mowers and hob lawn mowers. This standard does not apply to scissor-type lawn mowers, swing-type lawn mowers, or electric lawn mowers.
