Scope
1.1 This standard applies to the mooring test and dredging test of the dredging system and winches of marine and inland river grab dredgers powered by diesel engines. The mooring test and navigation test of its general equipment are carried out in accordance with GB 3471-83 "General Principles for Mooring and Navigation Test of Diesel Engine Powered Marine Vessels" and GB 3221-82 "Mooring and Navigation Test Outline of Diesel Engine Powered Inland River Vessels". 1.2 The materials and product equipment used in ship dredging systems and winches should have product qualification certificates. Products that need to be approved by the ship survey department should have acceptance certificates or approval procedures from the ship survey department. 1.3 The specific test program for first-build ships should comply with the test items specified in this standard and meet the requirements of the design brief and the relevant provisions of the current ship regulations. If the test program is changed for a continued ship, it should be determined through consultation with the relevant units. 1.4 Before the dredging test, the first-build ship should undergo an inclination test in accordance with the relevant ship stability specifications. The dredging test should be carried out after the faults and defects discovered during the mooring test have been eliminated and the approval of the survey department and the consent of the user have been obtained. 1.5 The measurement accuracy of various test instruments and meters used in mooring and dredging tests should have verification certificates from metrology verification institutions. 1.6 For the various test items stipulated in this standard, manufacturers and users are mainly responsible for participating in testing and acceptance. Among them, the ship survey department should be invited to participate in the test projects specified by the ship survey department, and the design unit of the first-build ship should also be invited to participate in the test. 1.7 The manufacturer should make various measurement records during the mooring and dredging tests. After the test is completed, a test report should be compiled and submitted to the survey department and the user for reference as the basis for ship inspection and delivery.
